Find Something You're Passionate About

"Yes, in all my research, the greatest leaders looked inward and were able to tell a good story with authenticity and passion." -Deepak Chopra

I always knew I wanted to tell stories. When I was younger I used to write creative stories in school and some of my favorite books to read were of women’s history.

Throughout the years, I struggled to find how I would take that passion and turn it into something I truly believed in and wanted to share with the world.

I began thinking of the things that I, myself wanted to be inspired by. That is where a mini docuseries was born called The Elevated Tea, while studying at the University of South Florida. It was an opportunity to be inspired while telling stories of other women doing incredible things.

As I progressed with this same vision and mission at heart, I created The Digital Coffee Date to expand my reach on a global scale. What I’ve created is a platform that comes from a genuine desire to be inspired by incredible women and to share their experiences with others to empower and encourage your own path.

I say all of this because when it comes to pursuing your passion, there isn’t just one way to go about it and while the evolutionary process can seem daunting at times, it is absolutely beautiful and necessary. If you have a dream, never give up on it. Put it into attainable action. Allow yourself to try things that might fail. It’s through failure and challenge that we find our biggest growth and success.

Today, I encourage you to put your idea on paper, tell someone about your vision, and begin setting attainable goals on how to make that dream a reality. Stay consistent and believe in what you’re doing. You can and you will get there. I believe it for myself and I believe it for you as well.
